Bob A. Siemers, age 69, of Oak Park, died Saturday October 29, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley, MN. The Rev. Daniel Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church and 1 hour before services at church. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Bob Siemers was born October 9, 1942 in Milaca, Minnesota to Hewart and Emma (Mattson) Siemers. He grew up along with his six brothers on a family farm in Oak Park. He attended the Oak Park Country School through sixth grade and graduated from Foley High School in 1961. After graduation, he was a member of the National Guard. He married Rosalind Schlicht September 28, 1963 at St. John's Catholic Church in Foley. He owned and operated a milk route for several years and then retired after working for Wayne Transport after 45 years. He enjoyed antiques, old cars, working in his yard, mowing lawn and spending time with family and friends. If you were not a friend of Bob's, it's only because he hadn't met you yet. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalind, Oak Park, MN; sons and daughter, Reggie (Kathy), Rice, MN; Natalie (Jeff) Elwell, Foley, MN; Brian (Jennifer), Foley, MN; brothers, Gordon (Alma), Cross Lake, MN; Dale, Milaca, MN; six grandchildren, Michael, Dalton, Spencer, Logan, Madison and Allie; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Curtis, Sheldon, Wayne and William and his favorite dog, Speed.
