Bennie Babler was born October 10, 1918 in Rogers, Minnesota to Jesse and Elizabeth (Dahlheimer) Babler. Bennie lived much of his life in Minneapolis, Minnesota and worked as a meat cutter for most of his life. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII. He enjoyed gardening flowers and raspberries and especially liked fishing at Mille Lacs Lake where he built a cabin near Malmo. He was a member of the Robbinsdale/Crystal Legion, Post 0251, the Meat Cutters Union, Local 635, Life Member of Ascension Catholic Church in Minneapolis and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sisters and brother; Esther Noske, Richmond; Rita Kelly, Harlingen, TX and Christopher H. Babler, Georgetown, TX and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
