Arthur Fussy was born September 15, 1919 in Alberta Twp, Benton, Co. to Frank and Gertrude (Schyma) Fussy. Art was proud of his German/Polish heritage. He was the fifth oldest of sixteen children and grew up near Morrill. He married Bernice Ritzko on August 10, 1942 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the couple was married for 65 years. Art was proud of the family they raised to be responsible and respectful and strong individuals. Art was a man of great faith, selfless with a hard work ethic and treasured the time spent with family and will be greatly missed by all. Arts contribution to the war effort was working at the Gray Plant making gear for war planes. After the war the couple moved north of Morrill where he farmed for many years. He also ground feed with a portable feed grinder he owned and worked at Franklin in St. Cloud for several years. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing and being in the woods and spending time at the cabin. His favorite time of the years was deer season and enjoyed teaching his family the "art" of deer hunting. Art was a past member of the Morrill Township Board and St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sons and daughters; Sherian (Mel) Hiltner, St. Cloud; Ronald (Gail), Bakersfield, CA; Suzanne Wisneski, Rice; Cary (Deanna Beddingfield), St. Joe; Kevin (Donna), Ramey; Greg (Michelle), Ramey; Chris (Trish), Ramey, 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Spiczka, Delores Dudek and brothers Lawrence and Richard and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice, daughter, Cynthia Winscher and son-in-law, Richard Wisneski, parents and 11 brothers and sisters. The family would like to thank the staff at the North Shore at Good Shepherd Nursing Home and Dr. Stephen Reichl for their care and compassion.
