Anthony Geist, age 53, of Foley died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 at Foley Funeral Home Chapel, Foley. Military Honors will be provided by the Foley American Legion, Post 298.  The Rev. Barbara Peterson will officiate. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, New Brighton.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley.  Arrangements were made  by the Foley Funeral Home.
Anthony Geist was born April 3, 1960 in Minneapolis, MN to Henry and Janet (Janke) Geist.  He had lived in Foley for the past 10 years and worked as a truck driver.  He was a US Army Veteran and was currently working for RMS Recycling.  He enjoyed playing pool and riding his Harley Davidson.
He is survived by his fiancé,  Jean Patten of Foley and her children, Tony, Tasha Bagley, Bradley Bagley, Jacob Patten and granddaughter, Nevaeh and mother, Janet Janke, Princeton, brothers and sisters James, Milaca; Jamey Blixt, Oak Park; Debra Geist, Princeton and Kelly Snell of Pease and  step-mother, Dawn Blixt of Montrose and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Henry and brother, Timothy.
