Anna O'Neil, age 89, of Foley, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Foley Nursing Center.  A Latin High Mass of Christian Burial for Anna will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in St. Cloud.  Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 PM at the Foley Funeral Home and will continue after 9 AM Saturday at the church.  Interment will be in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Rockville.
Anna H. O'Neil was born on August 6, 1927, the youngest of 11 children born to William James O'Neil and Anna H. (Traczyk) O'Neil in Granite Ledge Township.  She walked to country school nearby with an older brother and sister, then moved with the family to Rice and attended Sauk Rapids High School.  Anna was proud of her bookkeeping job with Gambles Skogmos in St. Cloud and later with DBL Labs.  After she retired she cared for her aging mother for many years.   Anna enjoyed the large extended family and spearheaded numerous family reunions.  She enjoyed exchanging gardening tips with family and friends.  Anna was a faithful member of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Rockville, MN.  Family and friends will remember her for friendly visits over coffee and rolls and for spirited discussions.
Anna is survived by one sister-in-law, Patricia O'Neil, and by numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her brothers and sisters:  James O'Neil, William B. O'Neil, Sister Marcellinus OSB, Elizabeth Kelash, Martha Kelash, Hubert O'Neil, Julia Morneau, Mary Smith, Margaret Miller, and Joseph O'Neil.
