Allen was born in Fredrick, WI to Gerald and Vivian Bruce. He was raised in the Hillman area.  He joined the service where he found his passion for cooking food and later made that his career.  After the service he had a beloved son Kyle Bruce.  He worked at Grand Casino Hinkley for much time where he was a cook.  He enjoyed living life to the fullest.  He also had a passion for hunting and fishing, but most days in the summer he would be found by the grill cooking, enjoying time with friends and family.

He is survived by his loving son Kyle(Alicia) Bruce of Foley MN, Brother's Brian(Vicki) Bruce,  Gary(Robin) Bruce, Mark(Vicki) Bruce,  Jim(Faye) Bruce.  Sisters Trudy,  Mary(Neil) and Judy(Leslie). Many Niece's, Nephew's, Aunts, Uncle's and cousins. Who will miss him dearly.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Gerald and Vivian.  Brothers Scott, Randy, David and niece Dakota Bruce.
