Mass of Christian Burial for Agnes Januszewski age 98 of Foley will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley. The Rev. Michael Wolfbauer will officiate.  Friends may call from 9 to 11 AM Tuesday at the church.  Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.  Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.
Agnes Januszewski was born May 19, 1919 in Gilman, Minnesota to Joseph and Helen (Chmielewski) Sopkowiak.  She married Vincent Januszewski on May 25, 1940 at Sacred Hearth Catholic Church in N. E. Minneapolis. While raising a family, she was employed at Enga's Cafe in St. Cloud, and later at the Foley Bakery.  She also worked as a cook at the Foley High School from 1963 until her retirement in 1982.  Agnes took pride in her flower beds surrounding the house and received many compliments from neighbors and especially from Cecil Wade.  Agnes obtained her drivers license at the age of 50, which gave her much independence.  She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.  Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
She is survived by her daughter and sons; Virginia (Raymond) Vanderweyst, Waite Park; Sidney, Foley; Anthony (Rose), St. Cloud and Donald of Monticello and her faithful pet companion, Cocoa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Vincent in 2001 and sons; Arthur, Richard and Andrew.
