Dean Funt, 68, of Pierz, died Sunday, July 2, 2017.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Foley Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Tuesday, July 4, 2017 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Foley Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to services.  Interment will be in Lone Pine Cemetery. 

Dean Robert Funt was born September 13, 1948 in Little Falls the son of Clifford and Bertha (Sterr) Funt.  On September 22, 1967, he was united in marriage with Sharon Lentner in Little Falls.  Dean worked on the farm and did mechanic work most of his life.  He enjoyed attending auction sales, watching his son race, and spending time with family and friends.

Dean is survived by his wife, Sharon of Pierz; children:  Tammy Funt of Sauk Rapids, Deanna (Dan) Thell of Pierz, Chad (Katie) Funt of Pierz; grandchildren:  Dalton, Shana and Logan Noll, Haley, Kenzie and James Thell, Abby and Andy Funt; great granddaughter, Deserae Plumski; brother, Keith Funt of Pierz; brother-in-law, Tom Skomra of Minneapolis; as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings:  Lorraine Skomra, George & Phyllis Funt, Calda Midthun, Gordy Funt, Mick Moren and Larry Noll.
