Dave Mosford, 73, of Foley, died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul.  Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 8, 2018 at St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud.  Rev. Scott Pogatchnik will officiate.  Visitation will be Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Foley Funeral Home with Parish Prayers at 6:30 PM.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at St. Mary's Cathedral on Monday.  Memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Cathedral.  

David Harold Mosford was born April 24, 1944 in Clear Lake, Minnesota the son of Harold and Irenemae (Madigan) Mosford.   He graduated from Foley High School and went on to attend St. John's University and the University of Minnesota.  His passion for sports began in high school playing football, basketball, and baseball with achievment of the Norm Grow Award.  On December 16, 1988, he was united in marriage with Dianne Zins in Foley.  Dave owned and operated Mosford Farm Equipment and Dairy Supply in Foley for 48 years.  He was an active Foley resident involved with City Planning, Council, and serving as Mayor from 2014-2015.  Dave was also very involved at St. Mary's Cathedral where he served as an usher and committed volunteer. Dave's greatest love was time spent with his family.  He often said, with a wink, that his daughters and grandchildren were both his greatest stressors and his greatest achievement!

Dave is survived by his wife, Dianne of Foley; daughters:  Lisa Mosford (David Kepner) of Prior Lake, Kimberly Mosford (Neil Fider) of Minneapolis, Darla (Kyle) Coss of Plymouth, and Heather Walker of St. Paul; grandchildren:  Justen Mosford, Zach Lavey, Brett Kepner, Tim Sotebeer, Kevin Coss, Samantha Fider, Danielle Coss, Ali Fider, and Chloe Fider; great-granddaugher, Marianna; brother, Robert (Judy) Mosford; as well as other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Bobbi Jo Wendlandt; and brother, Thomas Mosford.
