   Leita Bemis, age 85, of  Foley died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Foley Nursing Center.
   Funeral services will be 12 Noon Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church, Foley. The Rev. Allen C. Jergenson will officiate. Interment will be in the North Star Cemetery Mausoleum, St. Cloud.
   Friends may call from 10 to 12 Noon Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in Foley.  Arrangements were made  by the Foley Funeral Home.
   Leita Bemis was born June 10, 1927 in Foley, MN to Perry and Cordie (Ogg) Wagoner.  She married Clifford Bemis on June 24, 1946 at First Presbyterian Church, Foley.  Leita attended St. Cloud Business College and worked as a receptionist for Dr. Clifford Stiles and had done clerical work for the Benton Co. Highway Department and the ASCS Office in Foley.  She also worked at Milly's Clothing Store and later operated  Leita's Tots and Teens and Leita's Clothin Store.  She also co-owned and operated Bemis Trucking with her husband, Cliff.  Leita was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Foley Legion Auxiliary.  She was an avid  bowler and member of the Foley Lumber Jills, enjoyed antiques, flea markets and finding collectibles.  The couple enjoyed traveling in their RV to the MN State Fair and to Brandson, MO.
  She is survived by her daughters; Sandy (John) Gibbs, St. Cloud; Pat Ebensteiner, St. Cloud, 5 grandchildren, Scott Swanson, Traci Balder, Todd Swanson, Erin Gibbs and Kyle Gibbs, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Cliff, daughter, Barbara Bemis-Happe, sisters; Beulah McGuire, Faye Lloyd, Loree Lloyd and son-in-law, Ken Ebensteiner.
