Teofil 'Pete' Koscielniak, age 91, of rural Hillman, died Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Annandale Care Center, Annandale. 
  Grave Side Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Lone Pine Cemetery, rural Morrill, Minnesota.  The Rev. Greg Tomhave will officiate. 
  Friends may call from 4 to 9 Wednesday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley.  Prayer Services will be 6 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.  
  Teofil 'Pete' Koscielniak was born November 14, 1924 in Wisconsin to John and Barbara (Bal) Koscielniak.  He married Elinor Elsie Starr on July 18, 1950 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Dixville, MN.  He lived most of his life in rural Hillman.  He attended Dunwoody Institute, worked at Westinghouse and was employed by the Foley School District.  Pete spent hours tending to his apple orchard and used his ingenuity on his projects and hobbies.  He enjoyed deer hunting and loved fishing.  He especially enjoyed family gatherings. He was a US Army Veteran of WW II.   
  He is survived by his son and daughters; Carol (Robert) Hyde, Rochester; Terrance (Debra), Clear Lake; Virginia (Wayne) Peterson, Clear Lake; Susan (Shawn) Stang, St. Cloud; 8 grandchildren; Laura, Michael and Matthew Hyde; Sara (Timothy) Ahrenholz and Jared (Shae) Koscielniak, Angela and Eric Peterson and Hope Koscielniak and 5 great grandchildren, Richelle Hyde, Lillian and Kenneth Ahrenholz and Beckett and Elaina Koscielniak.  
  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Elinor Elsie Koscielniak and brothers and sisters; Andrew, Victoria Christensen, Mary Okonek, Carl, Joseph and Edward. and 2 infant sons, Richard Allen and Kenneth Lee.
