Paul Danelek, age 91, of Oak Park, died Monday July 25, 2016 at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 28, 2016 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Brennyville. The  Rev. Virgil Helmin will officiate. Burial with full Military Honors will be in the  Parish Cemetery.  Friends may call from 9-11 AM Thursday at the church.  Service with Dignity provided by Foley Funeral Home.
   Paul Frank Danelek was born April 2, 1925 in Oak Park, Minnesota  to William and Mary (Rymer) Danelek. On May 5, 1954, he was united in marriage with Mary Dahler at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church.  Paul proudly served his country during WWII in the US Coast Guard. He farmed in Granite Ledge Township for many years; but also worked as a school bus driver for Foley schools, a block layer in Minneapolis, in the mines on the Iron Range and for Franklin Manufacturing.   Paul was a member of the Foley American Legion for over 60 years and a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, fishing, being in the outdoors, birdwatching,  playing games with his children and grandchildren.  Paul especially enjoyed having a nice meal with family and friends.
  He is survived by his wife, Mary of Oak Park, children;  Dave (Billy) of Milaca, Debbie Hinnenkamp of Milaca, Linda (Pat) O'Donnell, Big Lake; Shirley (Charlie) Stachowski of Foley, Marilyn (Steve) Burroughs of Princeton and Marvin of Oak Park; 6 granddaughters:  Jolie Hinnenkamp, Alicia Stachowski, Trisha Roeder, Natasha Mills, Amy Anderson, Mattea Labaw; 2 great-grandsons:  Isaiah Hinnenkamp and Benji Anderson, sisters;  Rosie Lease of Foley and Henrietta 'Hank' Pietrzak of Waite Park, as well as many other relatives and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and siblings:  Damus, Ambrose, Raymond, Daniel, Clara White, Lucille Kosloski, Fran Kuffel and Nick Danelek.
